Myth Or Truth?

I must admit that this is the first time I’ve heard about antiperspirants and deodorants being linked to breast cancer. I’ve been using them since I was 10 years old. Am I going to get it? I needed to calm myself down. I went online and researched about the causes of breast cancer. The American Cancer Society said that personal hygiene products like deodorant and antiperspirants cannot cause cancer. There’s no relationship between breast cancer risk and antiperspirant use, deodorant use or underarm shaving. Parabens and aluminum are everywhere, from personal hygiene products to food. I believe the key here is to be informed. Read the labels before using or consuming any products. As for me, I’ll still use my deodorant.

Maybe we should look beyond this and make more research on the cause of breast cancer so we can find the cure. Join the Breast Cancer Link Debate and share your opinion.
