How was everyone's long weekend? Mine wasn't long enough...
We visited my in-laws gravesite. When we arrived at the cemetery I saw the usual site...American flags in almost every tomb. Though I haven't met my father-in-law, I'm so proud of the sacrifice he has done to fight for and defend the country he has loved so much.
Antonio has only seen his Nonno Charles (nonno is the Italian word for grandfather) in pictures that my husband has dearly kept. During Memorial Day celebration in his school he proudly mentions that his nonno was a war veteran. As young as he is he knows what it means to fight for one's country.

Thank you for reading.
